Hello, Fellow community members! I'm pleased to announce that the long suggested changes in guidelines is officially published. By keeping recent wikia events and confusion in mind, I and RagingAce spent over 4 hours revising the old outdated guidelines to try and contain problems before they go unmanageable. for people who do not want to go through to page changes, here's a short version of it.
We strongly believe in "Power tends to corrupt absolute power corrupts absolutely". To keep this under check, Every staff member (including us bureaucrats) are answerable to a higher authority when subject to a controversial or unjustified block.
- All warnings issued by moderators will be reviewed by an Admin.
- All long blocks (longer than a week) Will be reviewed by the Bureaucrats.
- All permanent blocks will require both bureaucrats to agree upon its necessity.
- To top it all off and prevent drama caused by staff members, special guidelines for staff have also be enforced.
It is true that in a 'wikia' community, admins can issue blocks to anyone without having any reasonable reason but let's not turn this fun community into a deadly dictatorship. Everyone needs to have limited powers to reduce false sanctions and unwanted drama.
These guidelines and changes were enforced over 2 weeks ago but we staff members are still getting suggestions for this and hence I decided to make an official announcement.
I'll be looking forward to having more fun activities happening around this community and some reduced drama. We understand that Arcane Adventures is discontinued but this wiki is based on it and needs to maintain it's stance.
