Ship modifications can be applied to ships and boats by purchasing blueprints at any shipwright, the functionality of these blueprints include being able to increase a vessel's maximum health, top sailing speed, and turn speed. Once bought, the upgrade is immediately applied to the player's vehicle and changes made will be permanent. Buying a new vessel will not return any upgrades applied to the previous ship and will have to be bought again.

In addition to upgrading, players have the choice to customize their sea vessel's color scheme using a paintbrush, as well as have the choice to give their vehicle a name with a ship nametag, both being able to be purchased from all shipwrights like blueprints.

Repair[]

Special Hammers can be found that will allow you to repair your ship before it despawns.

Repair Hammer[]

"A hammer used to repair ships."

Restores health back to the selected ship. It can be found in chests and by fishing. It is a common tool and you must be level 1+ to use.

Blueprints[]

Blueprints permanently upgrade a certain parameter of a ship/boat. These can be bought as many times as needed until capping out at a certain amount depending on the type of ship it is bought for.

Due to the hefty price when adding up multiple blueprint upgrades, it is recommended to only use blueprints when planning to stick to the same vessel for a long period of time, as newly-bought ships will not have any blueprints carried over from the previous ship, neither will they be returned when reverting back to the same type of ship.

Sail Blueprint[]

"Purchase to permanently increase your boat's max speed by strengthening the material of the sails."

Increases the maximum travelling speed of a vessel. Purchasable from shipwrights at level 30+. Limit varies between different ships/boats and can be applied to any ship/boat.

Steer Blueprint[]

"Purchase to permanently increase your boat's turning speed by improving the rudder."

Increases the turning speed of a vessel. Purchasable from shipwrights at level 30+. Limit varies between different ships/boats and can be applied to any ship/boat.

Hull Blueprint[]

"Purchase to permanently increase your boat's max health by strengthening the wood of the hull."

Increases the maximum hitpoints of a vessel. Purchasable from shipwrights at level 30+. Limit varies between different ships/boats and can be applied to any ship/boat.

Each individual hull blueprint grants 100 hitpoints.

Customization[]

Paintbrush[]

"Equip this to customize the colors of your boat."

Can be used to change the colors of the hull, sails, and miscellaneous parts of a vessel once. Purchasable from shipwrights at level 50+. There is no limit to how many times a vessel's colors can be changed, new colors can be applied to any boat, and colors transfer between vessels. There is no option to revert a vessel to its original "wooden" color scheme, however it can be done manually.

Ship Nametag[]

"Purchase to customize the name of your boat."

Can be used to give a name or change the name of a vessel. Purchasable from shipwrights at level 50+. There is no limit to how many times a vessel's name can be changed and a name can be applied to any boat.

Ship Lantern[]

"A Lantern placed on ships that can increase your vision during the night."

Can be used to increase the amount of light on your ship, making it easier to see, as well as notice from further away.. Purchasable from shipwrights at level 30+. Limit varies between different ships/boats and can be applied to any ship/boat.

Trivia[]

  • Ship modifications can be applied even when a vessel has been sunk.
  • Rams do not require the owner to be driving to deal damage.
  • Despite the fact that the Magic Ram will take on the color of the user's first Magic, when viewed from the shop, it is shown to be light brown.
  • In Arcane Adventures, the default paintbrush tool had a limited selection of colors the player could choose from which could be expanded by purchasing the "More Ship Colors" gamepass.
  • In Arcane Adventures, blueprints would scale in price with how many blueprints of that type have been bought.
    • However, this could easily be bypassed by simply buying all the blueprints needed in bulk, as was possible in Arcane Adventures, as an increase in price would only be apparent after confirming the purchase.
