NPC[]
Averill is a Light Magic user and the captain of the Shining Pirates. He is found on the Borealis, where he is sitting at a table in the shipwreck's bar. Here, you are able to talk to Averill to initiate his quest, Bar Brawl.
His ship, The Shining King, is golden yellow frigate with a black trim and black sails which will appear with the Shining Pirate logo above it.
Backstory[]
Averill's and the Shining Pirates' backstory is revealed in a Book, "Bright Beginnings".
Averill was born on a small island in the 5th sea named, 'Sung Island.' He was a very adventurous and rebellious young boy, which is believed to have been carried on to his adulthood as well. Averill was well known as a very talented light user, but his talent was not in the power of his magic, but the will of his mind in battle. Even at just the wholesome age of 16 he had already become the strongest warrior on his island. The young Averill was always dreaming of a life of adventure and pirate-hood. Very soon after Averill turned 20, his island was attacked by the dastardly Patch Pirates. The Patch Pirates, being impressed at his skill gave Averill an offer. In exchange for the safety of his village, he was to become a member of the Patch Pirates. As much as he would miss his family and friends, the chance to begin his life as a pirate was all too tempting. Averill made quick friends with the crew, and especially so with the captain, who became somewhat a new father to him. Unfortunately, Averill and his newly-made brother days were cut short due to the A.G.'s elite ship, the Aggressor. Averill was the only survivor of the attack, and in turn, the Patch Pirates. But he would always remember the dying wish of his captain, for Averill to make it big, and take on the world on his own. With newfound courage and motivation, Averill founded his own crew, the Shining Pirates. Determined to one day, live up to the wishes of his late captain.

Boss Fight[]
You can get an optional quest to defeat him in his boss fight at Oblitesco's Salon from the bartender.
Upon boarding the randomly appearing Shining King, players are able to fight Averill. He uses Light magic to attack, similar to Captain Barron of Outcast Tower, and is vulnerable to all attacks.
